Prairie Heating Products has a variety of in-slab ducts and fittings that are able to be ordered for the next high-rise project. When an engineer looks for how the HVAC system is going to work for the building, they can blueprint the in-slab duct into their plans. They consider things like fire safety, cost-effectiveness, and availability, once the plans are accepted, the order is placed for the amount of product needed.
Once we receive the inquiry for the in-slab duct and the fittings required, we plan with the contractor building the project so that we can either provide all of the product at once, we can send it in set amounts, or ship it to a warehouse for convenience.

As each level of the high-rise building is being completed, before the concrete pour for each level, runs of in-slab duct are built on the ground and hoisted up to the level in sections for quick and efficient assembly of the slab runs on each floor. Once they are placed, each run is connected. Once this is complete, the electricians, plumbers and other contractors complete their contributions. Concrete is then poured to complete the level.
Each floor has a deadline of about a week to get completed. This means quick and efficient work must be done in order to finish the level.
